Weight gain: 0.5lb
Baby weight: ? Unsure..she said he should be doubled from last time but they didn't measure...that would put him around 1lb 2oz.
His Heartbeat: 145bpm
Placenta: Looks great..apparently it was lower than I new of and has since moved up
MTHFR: looks like baby has to inherit this but could get the more severe of the two or the more mild one since I inherited a strand from each parent. I'm praying it's the mild one.
FVL: He has a 50/50 chance of inheriting this and I'm really praying he doesn't get it.
LAC: Really not sure on this one...it'll mean that he has an overactive immune system if he gets it.
Blood Pressure: 103/66 Pulse: 85
Baby Position: footling breech? He keeps flip flopping. Last week he was head down.
The sonographer couldn't get a good picture of him in 3D so she didn't let me have any..although I got good ones at 13 weeks and 17 weeks so I don't know why she couldn't.
She commented this time on his lips and he was sticking out his tongue.lol He has such a darling profile..she said he moves a ton..and asked if I could feel him because some moms don't feel their babies yet and I said are you kidding? Every day since 17 weeks I've felt this kid kicking me in the gut. :-)
Anyway, the doctor said she was very happy with how I'm doing and that she will be out of town in two weeks so my next sonogram she will only be available via the internet. They will be doing measurements at the next sonogram unlike this time. It felt very strange going today for a 20 week ultrasound because I've never gotten to do that before. The fear never subsides when you're laying on that bed being looked at..I always feel hopeful but know that at any moment things could change. I've also started my higher doses of heparin so I will go get labs drawn in two weeks as well. I HATE the amount of money I always owe when I walk in that office. Today I owed 226...I just paid 193 last week. yuck. I think after I deliver I'll put money away like I owe my doctor and will have a pretty penny saved..especially if I'm chunking out 200 a week. Well, I think that's all the new news. I've been getting over several illnesses so hopefully I will be okay for a little while. Every time I work the nursery at church I come down with something.
